The **Flexible Pocket Strop** is a compact and flexible strop. Due to its compact size you can easily fit it in your bag. Great if you wish to keep your knife sharp on the road! This strop is enhanced with two leather sides that are glued together. As such the strop is incredibly flexible, enabling you to strop recurve knives! In addition, the strop contains a practical cord.

Our strops are bare upon delivery. This means that they do not include a stropping compound or diamond paste. As such you can decide which stropping compound you prefer.

## Stropping
Stropping is the final step in the sharpening process. It is also an indispensable step if you are looking for ultimate sharpness and a shiny edge!

As you strop the edge of your knife you remove the smallest burrs, scratches and other imperfections that emerged as you used your sharpening stone. That is why stropping will only work if your knife is already really sharp. To make stropping on a leather strop even more effective, you use a so-called stropping compound or stropping paste. This is an extremely fine polishing agent that ensures you will end up with incredibly sharp results even faster.
