The **pull-through sharpener** from our Basic collection is a knife sharpener for everyone looking for speed and efficiency as you sharpen your knives. Within minutes you will be left with great results, and you don't need water. Something you do often need when you use a sharpening stone. In addition, this sharpener is enhanced with a fixed sharpening angle. As such the results will always be the same. You cannot go wrong!

## Different steps
This knife sharpener works with three steps, each with its own grain size. The first step uses a coarse grain size. With it you can quickly sharpen the blunt edge of your knife. The second step uses a medium grain. During this step you make sure your knife becomes sharp again. The third step is extra-fine. With it you end up with razor-sharp results.
 
## Use
Place the pull-through sharpener on a stable surface. This sharpener is enhanced with anti-slip feet to make sure the whole won't shift as you use it. Add tape to the blade, just above the edge. As such you prevent any scratches on the blade. Make sure you properly hold the sharpener with one hand. You use your other hand to place the knife in the first step of the sharpener. Pull your knife through in one straight movement. Make sure you sharpen the entire edge of the knife. How often you need to pull the knife through the slot depends on the steel used and the bluntness of the knife.

If you use it for the first time we recommend pulling the knife at least 20 times through the first slot of the knife sharpener. Afterwards you pull your knife through slots two and three approximately 10 to 20 times. After step three your knife will, once again, be nice and sharp! Make sure you repeat the last step on a regular basis to make sure your knife stays sharp.

Please note: you cannot use this sharpener to sharpen serrated knives or scissors.
