Our **stropping belt** is a leather belt you can use when stropping your razors. You hang the stropping belt from a hook on the wall and apply tension to the leather by holding the handle. Even though stropping belts are mostly used to polish razors, you can also use them to strop your pocket and kitchen knives.

On one side the leather is smooth for fine results. This side is also best suited for a stropping paste or spray. The other side is enhanced with a coarse finish. This side is better suited for a stropping compound. When stropping razors you may also decide not to use a stropping compound or paste. The leather has its own subtle stropping effect. That is why stropping will only work if your knife is already really sharp. To make stropping on a leather strop even more effective, you use a so-called stropping compound or stropping paste. This is an extremely fine polishing agent that ensures you will end up with incredibly sharp results even faster.
